1828-1900; 78-1910) In the 1850 Marion Co, GA census, p238, is
Daniel Blue age 30 b NC, Mary age 30 b GA, Thomas age 10 b GA, Margaret age 9 b GA, Burton
age 6 b GA, John H age 5 b GA & John Worsham age 13 b GA. This Blue
family is in the 1860 Canton, Van Zandt, TX census on p13. Janice Chambers, 2003,
writes "Daniel M. Blue md Mary Ann Peeples, abt 1837 in Georgia, she was born Dec 27, 1819 in GA and d Nov 20, 1892 in VanZandt Co."
Thressa Paplanus, 2003, wrote: "It was my grandmothers great grandparents Blue/People who came from Georgia. Blue b 1812 d 1893 and People b 1820 d
1895." The surname Peoples ties these families together, John T. Worsham's son, John Daniel Wisham, md Hassie Mary Lou Peoples,
11 Jan 1907 Marion, AL.
The Peoples family line needs more research, however, no Worsham relationship to

John is age 23 b GA in the 1860 Astons Store, Marion Co, AL cens. In the 1900 Guinn, Marion Co, AL cens John Wishum was b May 1828 GA and the 1910 Marion Co, AL cens, John T. Wisham is age 78. According to Jerome Wisham he was b Sep 1838 & Lynn Robertson has 1838.
Yates Publishing (DOC 22517.001) has his full name as John Thomas Wisham. Jerome Wisham, 1999, & Terry Wisham, 2004, wrote John T. Wisham's Civil war pension records states he was b Marion Co, GA Sep 1838. As John Worsham, he fought for the north in Company G 3rd regiment Michigan Calvary. He enrolled on 4 Sep 1862 and honorably discharged at Baton Rouge LA 2 Jun 1865. He signed documents with an X indicating that he could not read or write. He was injured in the war with sun stroke which entitled him to disability in later years. After the war John went to McNairy Co., TN from 1865 to 1866 then to IL until 1877. He fought with the 9th IL Calvary for a few weeks due to separation or wiping out of his men in battle but later went back to the Michigan Calvary. (Terry Wisham, 2004)
William A Worsham and his son William A Worsham Jr., also claimed residence in Marion Co, GA in their Civil War pension records. This makes us wonder if he was s/o William A. Worsham b abt 1810 Walton Co., GA. (See page 742, paragraph 1A.2. & 1A.2.2.). It is difficult to believe that John T. is a s/o William A. Worsham because William A. served for the South in the Civil War & John T. served for the North. William is in the 1840 Marion Co., GA census p 66, with Males: 2 under 5, 1 5-10, 1 30-40; Females 1 5-10, 1 20-30. John T. could easily be the male age 5-10. William was in the 1850 Marion Co., GA Census, p 243 without a wife with children: Thomas age 10; Wm. age 7; Jeremiah age 5; George 3 & Jackson 5 months. John Thomas could be Thomas age 10 in the 1850 census. William A's brother, Daniel Worsham, is also living in Marion Co., GA in 1850 and moved to Taylor Co., GA, before 1860 indicates that John T. is related to Daniel Worsham as John T. was married in Taylor Co., GA.
In the Marion Co., GA census is David B. Worsham. A Courthouse fire occurred in 1845 and all earlier records lost. He is another candidate as the father of John T. Wisham, as David & Charlotte were married in 1822 and we have their first child b. in about 1835.
David's brother was Archer Worsham, who had a son John G. Worsham who moved from Baldwin Co, GA to Russell Co, AL. In the 1870 census John S. Worsham was age 75 b VA. Next in the census is his presumed son John S Worsham age 35 b GA, and Mary age 13 b GA.
John md. 1st) Mary Ann Bozeman 18 Aug 1858 Taylor, GA. (IGI at FamilySearch.com & Taylor County Marriages 1852-1924) She was b. abt. 1840 Talbot, GA. Jerome Wisham has her parents as Thomas William Bozeman & Sallie Montgomery who md 1 May 1823 Wilkinson Co, GA. John and Mary moved to Marion Co, AL and homesteaded in 1860. Jerome Wisham, 1999, wrote here was also a Frank Wisham who md Margaret Bozeman (Mary Ann's sister) and they also came to AL in 1860.
John md. 2nd) Hollie Elizabeth Lucas 9 Feb 1881 Lamar, AL. (Terry Wisham, 2004 & John Wosham & Elizabeth Lucas mrg Lamar Co, AL Surety/Bond Date: 9 Feb -, OSPage 362) According to the Civil War record, Elizabeth died 19 Sep 1890. After Elizabeth's death, John md. 3rd) Elizabeth Jane Spence 26 Oct 1890 Monroe, MS. She was b. abt. 1853 of Monroe , MS , and d. Oct 1932 Marion, AL. John T. Wisham d Oct 17, 1916 and is buried at the Old Liberty Cem., Guin , AL.

(May 1872-1900; 38-1910; 51-1920; 62-1930) Terry Wisham writes that John T. had children Frank Wishum Robertson and Henry Wishum Robertson adopted out to Robertson's in Hendersonville TN, possibly a sister that married a Robertson. Jerome Wisham, 1999, writes "Frank Robertson last lived in the Henderson, TN area. He was originally from the Marion Co., AL areas and his parent were John T. and Mary Ann Wisham." Frank md 1st) Paralie born Jun 1880 TN and d bef 1910. Frank md 2nd) Lola b abt 1886 TN. He is in the 1920 Chester Co, TN census as Frank Robertson age 51 b AL widow hiredman, with a son Henry 21 TN and the 1930 Chester Co, TN cens as Frank Robertson age 62 b. AL, and wife Lola age 44 TN, and stepson Herbert Nuckals age19 b TN. Only the 1930 census correctly has his father b in GA however it has his mother b in AL.
